There are some bags you take with you because they look good. Then there are the ones you keep reaching for because they make your day easier.

We designed our drawstring bag as an everyday bag, but over time we noticed that it has another very useful role: it makes a surprisingly good travel companion. It is light, easy to carry and roomy enough for the things you need when you are away from home. More importantly, it leaves your hands free to explore.

A Bag for Days Spent Walking

Travel days rarely happen at a desk. They involve walking, public transport, waiting in queues, looking for the right street and changing plans along the way.

A good travel bag needs to be comfortable enough to stay on your back for hours. Our drawstring bag is lightweight and spacious, so it can carry the things you actually need during a day of exploring without becoming a burden itself.

A water bottle, wallet, phone, sunglasses, a small camera, a notebook, a light layer of clothing — there is room for all the little things that tend to accumulate during a day in a new city.

There is another way we like to use a drawstring bag for travel.

If you prefer to travel with just one large backpack or suitcase, a lightweight drawstring bag can be packed inside it and brought out when you arrive.

It takes up very little space when you are packing, but becomes useful the moment you leave your accommodation.
