This tote bag carries more than just your everyday essentials: it carries a story of friendship. The illustration began as brush-and-ink sketches on paper, each dog and human silhouette drawn in a single flow of motion. Later, the drawings were digitized, refined, and composed into a balanced design before being transferred onto fabric.

The print itself was created using traditional screen printing, done entirely by hand in the Polender studio. The tote is crafted from durable burgundy twill, with an added V-shaped pocket in natural beige canvas. This pocket is not only a practical element, giving you space for what you need at hand, but also a Polender signature detail – breaking the uniformity of the form while highlighting the print.

At the heart of this design is the idea that dogs are not possessions, but true companions. A reminder of shared walks, unspoken loyalty, and the quiet comfort of knowing you’re never really alone.
